A metal piece made to sit over your own teeth, up to the gumline. It comes off.

The grill and the mould kit are one order. We post the kit, you take a mould at home, mark the finish on the sheet, and post both back in the packaging the kit came with. Once we have checked the mould, making usually takes 10 to 14 days, and the piece comes back by tracked delivery. The stages are on the process page.

A grill order includes the kit for the teeth you chose. You can also order a kit on its own from the mould kits page.

A soft copy of your teeth. The material in the kit sets around them and keeps their shape, and the grill is built on that. The metal covers each tooth up to the gumline, so the mould needs to show the tooth that far, with no tear and no bubble. How to take one is on the mould kits page.

A kit for one jaw has two bases and two catalysts. A kit for both jaws has four of each, two attempts for each jaw. Use the next pair if the first tears, stops short of the gumline, or has a bubble where the metal needs to sit. If those attempts fail, another kit is needed.

If the mould cannot be used, we refund the jewellery price. The mould kit is not refunded, because it has already been posted. If the finished piece is faulty, or not what you ordered, tell us. The detail is in the terms.

The piece follows the mould, up to the gumline. It is not reshaped on your teeth afterwards. We only make a grill from a mould we have checked.

We suggest you take them out to eat and to sleep. They come off.

Silver is sterling. It is a bright white, and it can tarnish. A polish brings it back. Yellow gold is warm. White gold is pale, and it does not tarnish the way silver does. Rose gold is pink, from copper in the alloy. On gold, 9k has the least gold and wears hardest. 18k has the most gold, a deeper colour, and marks more easily. 14k sits between them. A hallmark is the small mark struck into gold and silver to show the metal. Yours comes with the finished piece.

A grill is made for your teeth, so we cannot sell it to anyone else. Once making has started, a change of mind is not a reason to cancel. If the piece is faulty, or not what you ordered, tell us. The detail is in the terms.

From the day we receive your mould, the normal time is 10 to 14 days. That is how long the making takes. It does not include the days the kit is with you, or in the post.

On the sheet in the kit. Plain caps are solid metal over each tooth. A bar joins the teeth into one continuous face of metal. A cutout takes a shape out of the metal, such as a heart or a window, so the tooth shows through. If you want something the sheet does not cover, contact us.
