Terms

Terms of sale

These terms cover custom grillz and mould kits from Madani Jewellery.

1. Who we are

Madani Jewellery makes custom jewellery in the United Kingdom and posts worldwide. These terms cover custom grillz and mould kits.

2. What you are buying

A custom grill is removable jewellery made to a mould of your teeth. It is not a medical or dental device, and it is not fixed in.

3. Order

The grill and the mould kit are one order unless you buy a kit on its own. The kit is a separate price, then added into the total: £15 for one jaw, £25 for both. Prices are in pounds. Yellow, white and rose gold cost the same at the same karat. The total on the order page does not include a bank’s currency fee, or customs charges abroad.

One jaw takes up to eight caps. From nine caps, the order is for the top and the bottom. The caps do not have to be next to each other. You mark the teeth on the sheet in the kit.

Card payment is not available on this site yet. Your order stays in this browser.

4. What is in the kit

A kit for one jaw contains one tray, two bases and two catalysts, which is two attempts. A kit for both jaws contains two trays, four bases and four catalysts, which is two attempts for each jaw. Each kit also contains a sheet printed with the upper and lower teeth, a kit number, and packaging to post it back. The same number is on the box and on the sheet.

5. Taking the mould

You follow the instructions in the kit and take the mould of the teeth the grill is for. The material is enough for two attempts. If the first attempt fails, use the second. If both attempts fail, you need another kit. How to take the mould is on the mould kits page.

6. The sheet

When the kit arrives, you mark the finish on the sheet. It shows your upper and lower teeth. Plain caps are solid metal over each tooth. A bar joins the teeth into one continuous face of metal. A cutout takes a shape out of the metal, such as a heart or a window. If you want something the sheet does not cover, tell us on the contact page.

7. Sending the kit back

Return the mould and the sheet in the packaging the kit came with. You pay that postage. The return address is printed in the kit. If the mould is lost in the post, tell us on the contact page. A kit that has already been posted is not refunded. You may need another kit.

8. How long it takes

Once we have a usable mould, the piece usually takes 10 to 14 days. That does not include the time the kit is with you, or in the post. The finished piece is posted back by tracked delivery.

9. Refunds

Because each piece is custom, we do not offer a refund for a change of mind once work on your grill has begun. If the mould cannot be used, the jewellery is refunded. The mould kit is not refundable once it has been sent. If the finished piece is faulty, or is not what you ordered, tell us. We will put it right.

10. If the mould cannot be used

We do not make the piece. You get the jewellery price back. The mould kit is not refundable once it has been posted. You can order another kit.

11. A wrong or faulty piece

Tell us on the contact page. If the finished piece is faulty, or is not what you ordered, we will repair it, remake it, or refund that piece. The piece follows the mould. We do not reshape it on your teeth afterwards. If the mould was short of the gum or pulled out of shape, that is not a manufacturing fault.

12. Hallmarking

Where UK law requires a hallmark for that metal and weight, the piece is hallmarked. The metal and the fineness come with the finished piece.

13. Wearing

We do not recommend eating or sleeping in them. They are jewellery, not a dental appliance. Take them out to eat, to sleep, and when you clean your teeth. Silver can tarnish. That is not a fault.

14. Worldwide

We post kits and finished pieces from the United Kingdom, including to other countries where the post will take them. You pay any import duty, tax or customs charge. Post outside the UK takes longer. The detail is on the shipping page.

15. Liability

We are responsible for a piece that is faulty or not as described. We are not responsible for how the piece is worn, for dental work, or for loss once a carrier has delivered it to the address you gave. This does not remove any rights the law gives you.

16. Law

England and Wales.
